Pam Holland swayed to the music, licked her lips and locked eyes with her Boy Toy. Six feet of lean, hard muscle, abs she could bounce a dime off, broad chest tapering down to narrow hips, powerful legs. When he smiled, his lush mouth tilted up on one side and his dark gaze consumed her. Night sky blue eyes, impenetrable-unlike her. She wanted to run her fingers over his face, features classically sculpted by the hands of a master. Black hair hung loose past his broad shoulders. Black latex outlined a hard bulge. Her pussy melted. He ran his tongue over his lips. Pam's breathing went funny. The throbbing bass set off Richter-scale-worthy vibrations around her, and the drumbeat grew more intense. He spread his legs, aiming his cock at her moist pussy. Pam moaned to herself. In time to the music's pulse and Pam's heartbeat, he turned, presenting a perfectly sculpted butt. He peeked over his shoulder, growled, and turned back, his bulge now even larger. Pam visualized her aroused nipples grazing his chest. She opened her legs, toes clenching as she imagined his cock wedged against her pussy. The music rose to a crescendo, and he slid the G-string down a millimeter. Now he grew wilder in his dance, undulating his slim hips, humping back and forth just the way he would when he finally… A woman shrieked and sprang up from the audience. She raced over to Boy Toy and crammed a fistful of dollars under the latex. She also managed to cup his cock and balls before all hell broke loose, and other crazed women surrounded him… With a last seductive grin at the audience-did Pam imagine that he singled her out to ask where her cash was?-Boy Toy disappeared and the lights came on. The servers got busy hustling drinks, which Pam and her best friend Sue Diamond joined the crowd in ordering. The two women usually met at their favorite San Francisco bar for their weekly catch-up session. But tonight, in celebration of the recent spring solstice, they'd decided to try a new venue. Pam wasn't sure she'd ever want to come back here again. Too much buildup with nowhere to go… After their drinks arrived and they'd both scarfed some munchies, Sue asked, "So, you goin' to the White-Ayre Academy reunion?" Pam reached across the table and snatched Sue's drink away. "What-?" Sue protested. Pam looked mock concerned. "Someone must have drugged your drink." Sue rolled her eyes and reached across the table. "Give that back. No drugs." "You sure?" "Yeah. Just booze in this drink, and not much of it."
Pam slid the drink back across the table. "Okay. Though I can't believe you asked me that question." A thought struck her. "Uh, you're not thinking of going, are you? Is that why you're asking? You're planning to go to the Nightmare Academy reunion." Sue nodded. "Yeah. I sprang the hundred bucks and bought a ticket." Pam fought the impulse to snatch Sue's drink back. "Why?" Sue shrugged. "I want to see what the twenty years since high school have done to the cheerleader and football hero types." Pam snorted. "Who gives a shit?" "I guess I do." Sue sounded wistful. Pam looked at her friend like she'd just confessed to planning a short vacation on Saturn. "Well, not me. Twenty years isn't enough to make me forget the four years of daily, unending hell. Fifty years wouldn't be. I wouldn't pay ten bucks to revisit that, let alone a hundred. In fact, there's not enough money in the world to induce me to go." "So tell me, Pam. Don't pull any punches. How do you really feel?" Pam made a face. "I'd have to be a major masochist to put myself through that reunion." A memory snagged her. "High school was no picnic for you either. Why are you even contemplating seeing that bunch of losers again?" Sue downed a good swallow of her drink. "My therapist says it's a great way to get closure. You know. Put the crappy years at Nightmare Academy behind me and move on." "Sheesh. Get another therapist." Pam drummed her fingers on the table. As usual, Sue shrugged off Pam's wise advice. "I think you should go too," she said in a small voice. "I don't need any closure. My years at old Nightmare feel like another life, thank goddess." Pam went for another sip of her margarita and discovered she'd already drained the glass. She signaled the server for a refill. "Even so. Aren't you curious to see them all?" "Not even this much." Pam held up her thumb and index finger with a millimeter of space between them. "Well, I think it would be fabulous for you to show up. Let everyone see what a great success you are now. Founder and CEO of the Rubenesque Woman fashion empire. Rich, gorgeous, and one of the top five hundred women entrepreneurs in the U.S." "Yep. I'm all that. You know what? Everyone I care about knows I've made it. Why subject myself to a night of misery when my life is just the way I want it right now?" "You really don't want to see for yourself?" Sue's eyebrows practically hit her hairline. Pam waved her hand dismissively. "No. But you can give me a full, hopefully nasty and sarcastic, report the morning after. Now, subject closed." The server arrived with Pam's drink, and she took a large gulp. "Okay," Sue said. "I have an idea. Let's try for a hypothetical. What if you could design the perfect-for-you reunion. Who or what would you include?" Jeez, what was with Sue tonight? But Pam knew her friend would keep nagging 'til she got a response she deemed acceptable. "Okay. If we can get off the topic after I answer, I'll tell you." Pam considered for half a minute, then she had it. "My perfect reunion would feature me watching as a huge pit opens in the earth and swallows the school, the faculty and staff, and the entire
class, present company excluded." Pam took another sip. Sue scowled. "I'm serious here." "You think I'm not?" This was supposed to be their night out for fun. Sue was ruining it with her reunion crap. "But isn't there anyone you'd like to see, just one more time?" Sue implored. Pam had to get her friend off her back. "Okay. I'll tell you, and then case closed. There was a guy." Sue moved forward in her chair. "Really? Someone you wanted to date?" "Yeah. He was nice to me, but he never asked me out. Ever." The memory brought back the bitterness and pain of those years. "Ancient history." "Well, shit, don't stop now. Who was it? You can tell me." "You won't laugh?" Sue held up her right hand in the classic oath gesture. "Jake Ardlow," Pam muttered. Sue nearly sprayed the table with her drink. After Pam fastened her with a death glare, Sue pulled herself together. When she could talk again, Sue sputtered, "Jake Ardlow?" Pam, regretting her impulse toward confession, nodded. "Sorry, girlfriend. I think we all had a crush on him. Tall, dark, handsome, and brooding. I used to call him Heathcliff in my fantasies." "Oh, so you had a crush on him too?" Pam couldn't have explained the frisson of jealousy that chilled her at this prospect. "Like I said, I think everyone did. But, if you want to talk about futile. I had an even bigger crush on Dean Morley." "You mean the soccer star who dated everybody?" Pam shook her head. "Yeah that one. Dated everyone but me." Sue drained her drink. "And me. Though he starred in almost as many of my daydreams as Jake." "But you know who I still dream of?" Pam rolled her eyes. "I hate guessing games." "Mr. Donovan," Sue whispered, and blushed. "Mr. Donovan our eleventh grade social studies teacher?" Pam asked, her voice rising with surprise. Sue blushed again and nodded. Pam had a million questions about that, but Sue appeared to regret her impulse toward confession and refused to answer. Just as well. They'd spent enough time talking about Nightmare and the upcoming reunion. She shrugged. "Whatever. So tell me how things are going at work."
***** Curious. Despite her best intentions, Pam couldn't shake that one word after she returned home. Curious flashed in neon colors before her eyes when she tried to close them. Defeated, Pam sat up in her luxurious queen-size bed and hunkered back against a pile of pillows. Curious, curious, curious. Damn Sue for bringing up that niggling word. All in her misguided attempt at getting company for her quest for closure. Pam had been friends with Sue since before their high school days, when both of their families opted to send their daughters to private school. They must have thought Nightmare would provide a better education than the public schools in the area. She pursed her lips. They should have saved their money. Other than Sue, there was no one else from Nightmare Academy she cared about… Except Jake Ardlow. The gorgeous, brilliant editor of the school's barely tolerated literary magazine. Jake used to publish her poems. He was probably the only one who ever read them… The living, breathing model of the brooding, dark, handsome poet. Like Sue said, Heathcliff. With Jake, Pam had never felt invisible, the way she did with most of her classmates. She was overweight, with a 4.0 grade point average-an infallible formula for high school anonymity, if not out-and-out pariah status. But Jake, though attentive and polite in their intense conversations about poetry, had never called her or asked her out. Too bad, because he'd been the lover in her first intimate fantasies. Yeah. She'd like to catch up with him. Even if she found out he'd turned into a jerk… And her other dream guy, Dean Morley. A championship soccer player. Pam hadn't paid much attention to jocks, but Dean had that special indefinable something that caught her attention as well as that of his constant entourage of adoring females. According to the all-pervasive grapevine, he dated several different girls each week. But he'd never gotten around to either Sue or her. Having given up on sleep, Pam trundled over to her bookcase and rummaged to find the old yearbook. She hadn't so much as glanced at it, or even thought about it, for at least a decade. Now she couldn't resist. Jeez, how young they all looked. She didn't remember ever having been that young. In her graduation photo, she gazed out at some distant horizon, thinking what? Her chin jutted out at a forty-five degree angle, her take on how to look sophisticated and detached. She had succeeded, despite the awful haircut she'd paid a small fortune for the day before. Now she could almost laugh, but then she'd swallowed back tears. She'd gone to so much effort to get it right… Her face looked so round despite her heroic attempts at sucking in her cheeks to achieve fashion-model hollows… Neither Jake nor Dean had ever suffered from a bad haircut or any other physical flaw. Back then Jake wore his black hair long. With his strong features and piercing dark eyes, she'd always thought he looked like a pirate. All he'd have needed was an eye patch, a gold hoop earring, and a bandana. Dean, on the other hand, had chestnut hair, blue eyes, and a smile that lit up the world. Jake had been the taller one in high school, Dean the more buff. She wondered how the years had treated them. Probably both were married, with kids and houses. The whole nine yards. She'd just bet neither remembered her. Pam took her yearbook back to bed with her. Old hungers revived, Pam reached for the super deluxe vibrator she'd treated herself to the day before. Ridged and veined in all the right places, her plastic pal held great promise. She twirled the base, and the ensuing hum got her juices flowing. After a last look at the photos of her long-ago heartthrobs, Pam closed her eyes and let the vibrator's magic sweep her away. Cripes, she was so well primed, she nearly came the moment the cool plastic came into contact with her hot clit. She bit her lip. She wanted to slow this down, savor the buildup before she let go into the climax she so desired. Grinding her hips slowly into the bed, she teased herself, brushing the vibrator lightly over her folds, pressing harder, then pulling away. Her mind filled with images of her phantom lover. She ran her free hand over her breasts, and she shivered in longing for the man who would touch her everywhere, suck her, lick her, pleasure her. Shivering from the intensity, she slid her toy up her wet slit, riding the shaft, filling herself. With a moan and a shriek, she came.
Oh yeah, the new vibrator was a keeper. Hugging the yearbook, Pam eventually fell asleep.

After a hard night's work, Jake Ardlow resolved to devote most of the time before dawn to catching up on his e-mail. He deleted the usual hundred or so spam messages from his inbox. As a small-press publisher, he received enough legitimate mail to more than fill his nights. He was about to delete an unread message from the White-Ayre Academy reunion committee when his index finger froze in midair. Patti Todd Miller, a perpetual cheerleader type who bubbled and blathered even through email, informed him that their twentieth high school reunion would take place in three weeks. For a mere hundred dollars, he could dine and dance the night away with four hundred people he could scarcely tolerate two decades before. Jake rolled his eyes and was hovering his cursor over the delete button when an image came unbidden to mind. Pam Holland. One of the few White-Ayre people who'd excited his curiosity-and more-back then. Pam Holland. The brightest, most vibrant girl at Nightmare Academy. The thought of Pam brought his cock to high alert, just as it always had in high school. Cripes. High school had been such a nightmare and remained a painful blur in his memory. Jake hadn't dated back then. His erection tangibly reminded him of his almost permanent condition during those years, when his right hand and his cock had been nearly constant companions. Jake and Dean had moved back from New York to their hometown six weeks before and were crashing at Dean's old place, which suited them for now. The possibility of reconnecting with Pam was another plus to their returning to home base, one Jake hadn't acted on yet. Though Jake had wanted to date her back in high school, he'd been scared off by her notorious sharp tongue and withering sarcasm. As literary magazine editor in a school that valued jocks and had zero tolerance for dreamers, Jake knew his fragile ego would have curled up and died from one of Pam's direct hits. But his ego was no longer fragile. He'd parlayed his literary talents and instincts into Park Place Poems and Prose, one of the most successful-both critically and financially-small presses in the U.S. A quick perusal of Google gave him Pam's business website address. He typed it, followed some links and, in moments, his screen lit up with a current bio and a photo. She'd grown into the beauty her early good looks had promised. Jake loved that she was proudly round, generously curved with large breasts a man could sink his teeth into. While he read about her success in business, no surprise there, he continued to stroke the erection her image inspired. With her flair for fashion and sharp intellect, she'd built a multimillion-dollar business. But she didn't appear to be writing anymore. Pity that. Well, maybe she nurtured secret ambitions to again write poems. He'd love to have her submitting to him again. He grinned at the inadvertent double entendre. All Pam had ever submitted to him in the past was her poetry. The notion of this changing… He stroked his now aching cock. "What are you working on this intensely so close to dawn?" Jeez, Jake must have been really engrossed not to have heard or felt Dean come in. Usually he was so sensitized to Dean's presence, he sensed him moments before he entered a room. Assuming a bland, almost bored look, not easy with his cock in his hand, he said, "Got an invitation to our twentieth reunion at White-Ayre. You, Mr. Popularity, surely have one in your email too."
Dean ran a hand through his hair. "Who'd want to go back to that hellhole?" He threw himself down into the chair next to Jake's desk. Jake raised an eyebrow. "At least you looked like you were having a good time, not like the rest of us." Dean snorted. "Whatever. You're not seriously thinking of going, are you?" Jake tried to think of the least disturbing way to answer Dean, but, realizing how easily his friend read him, gave up. "I just might. There's somebody I want to look up." "Who?" "A girl I always regretted not asking out on a date." Over the years Jake and Dean had been together, each had occasionally flirted with some girls, sometimes more… Never anything serious, though. In his gut, Jake realized his feelings for Pam could be serious. "I went out with all of them. Trust me, you weren't missing much. There was only one I didn't go out with and wish I had. Who was yours?" Dean asked. Jake looked Dean straight in the eye. "Pam Holland." "Pam Holland?" Dean's voice rose. "Yeah, Pam Holland. What's it to you?" Dean looked away. "Shit. You will not believe this. She's the one I meant just now." That made Jake pause. He'd never suspected Dean's interest in Pam. "Really? Well, if she'll go as my date, I'll go to the damn reunion. Would you go, too?" His voice sounded too loud, too emotional. Dean shrugged. "She's probably married." Jake exhaled hard. "Hey, look. I'll call her. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?" "Okay. If you go, I'll go too." Dean rose and stretched. Jake rose too. Still half-erect from his thoughts about Pam, Jake felt his cock butt up against the zipper of his jeans. Dean grinned at the bulge. "You want some company to take care of your risen buddy there?" Jake's cock sprang back to full attention. "You volunteering?" he asked, his voice just above a whisper. Dean drew Jake to him and brushed his lips with a kiss. "Always," Dean whispered, and Jake felt a surge of the excitement that Dean had been able to awaken in him since high school. Jake probed Dean's mouth with his tongue and felt his lover's fangs, sharp and ready. "You hungry, buddy?" Jake asked. "For you," Dean responded, grinding his erection against Jake's as he plunged his fangs in his lover's pulsing jugular to feed. Later, much later, Jake promised himself, he and Dean would talk about Pam Holland. But for now, Jake's consciousness flowed into the whirl of sensation as he and his lover shared the familiar intimacy that fed all their needs. *****
Jake phoned Pam the next night. "Pam. This is Jake Ardlow. From White-Ayre Academy. Remember?" He heard a sharp intake of breath. "The literary magazine Jake Ardlow?" Her voice sounded low-pitched, almost husky. Definitely sexy. His senses went on high alert. "Ah, you remember." He grinned at the phone. "Having my poetry in the literary journal was the high point of my years at Nightmare. So Jake, why are you calling?" He was about to answer, when she continued, "If you're selling insurance or financial services, this conversation is over." She still hadn't lost that cynical edge. "Not guilty on either count." "Good. But why are you calling after twenty years?" Now or never. "As it turns out, I just moved back here from New York. Decided to look up old friends. Then I got an announcement about the White-Ayre reunion. You're the first person I thought of. Are you going?" "No way in hell," she practically hissed. "Blunt as ever." "Are you going?" "Thinking about it. Getting the invitation brought back lots of memories. Including how much I wanted to get to know you better but was far too shy to in high school." "No way." "Way." "You, Mr. Hot Shot Literary Magazine Editor, were shy?" "On my good days I was shy. The rest of the time, practically catatonic." Her laugh sounded musical and friendly. "You sure hid that well. You always seemed very together to me." "So, my disguise worked. Pam, I don't particularly want to go to the reunion, but I would like to reconnect with you. And I'm just perverse enough to figure that the reunion would be a great venue to make that happen. Could be a lot of fun." "Jake, you're kind of catching me by surprise here." Not exactly a rejection, but hardly the enthusiastic acceptance he'd hoped for. "I realize that. What do you say?" "I went to school with you more than twenty years ago. I liked you then, but I don't know who you are now. Several questions come to mind." "Ask away." "Are you married or part of any committed relationship?" "I'm in a relationship that gives me the room to invite you to the reunion." "Hmm. Sounds weird."
"I promise, I'll explain later. It would be easier in person than on the phone." As would everything else about him. "Hmm. Well, going to the reunion seems harmless. Okay. Are you a serial murderer or convicted felon?" He laughed. "No and no." Just your average bisexual vampire, he added to himself. How would Pam react to that? "All right. Now that we've eliminated the obvious obstacles and you haven't tried to sell me anything, tell me what is going on in your life now." She evidently hadn't picked up on his subliminal message. "You want to hear about the whole last twenty years?" "Just the condensed version." For now, Jake told her only about Park Place Poems and Prose and about living in New York since college. He strategically decided to hold back on his college initiation to the fraternity of vampires and his many years of loving Dean. Not to mention Jake's curiosity about Pam, his desire to get her back in his life despite his otherwise complete compatibility with Dean. How would she react to knowing that Dean and he even shared feelings about her, as well as an eternal life as vampires? If he told her all that, he'd probably never even get a chance to see her. Neither of them would. And they both longed for at least that. "I'd love to see any poetry you're writing these days, though that's not at all why I called." Pam chuckled. "Not writing any poetry. More like business plans and projected earnings reports, that sort of stuff." "Your poetry's not required. So what do you say, Pam? Will you be my date at the Nightmare reunion?" Another brief silence. "Jake. I really intended not to go." She sounded like she was wavering, she had even used the past tense. He pitched his voice low. "Come on. We can laugh at everyone and leave any time you want." "You drive a hard bargain." "So I've been told." "Okay," she said at last. "I'll meet you there. But we will leave the moment I say to. Or I will on my own." "You're on," he said. "Can't wait to see you again. Oh and my old friend Dean Morley might also tag along. You might remember him, the soccer player?" "Dean Morley?" Her voice sounded incredulous. "The both of you?" "Is that okay?" Jake didn't know what he'd do if she said no. Much as he desired to be with Pam, excluding Dean would be a deal-breaker. "More than okay. I'll see you then." "Yesss!" Jake shouted after he hung up. He'd count the nights 'til he once again laid eyes on Pam. His cock throbbed and a pleasurable tingle vibrated in his fangs. ***** Pam couldn't believe it. Her conversation with Jake Ardlow was like some auditory hallucination. And Dean Morley would also be there? She picked up the phone and started to dial Sue's number. If she didn't share the invitation with someone, she'd explode. But then she put the phone back down. For now, she'd keep the reunion plans to herself. Hug them to her like a special secret. Like she'd wanted to hug her two crushes to her back in high school. Jake sounded great on the phone, his voice sexy. She loved that he was still an editor, though on a much grander scale than back
then. Funny, she'd been so busy building her business and then overseeing it, she hadn't written a poem or even read one in years. Maybe she'd get back to poetry, at least reading it. She'd go online and order some books from Jake's press. What would she wear? Pam searched through her closet, but, predictably, couldn't find anything exactly right. Of course with Rubenesque Woman, Pam had easy access to gorgeous clothes in her size. From the day she'd opened her first shop, Pam had insisted on carrying high-class designers. She knew women wouldn't hesitate to pay top dollar for fine, quality fashion in real sizes. She'd raid one of her shops tomorrow. But first she'd have to decide on her look for the reunion. Running her fingers through her hair, Pam critically studied her reflection in the full-length mirror on the back of her bedroom door. An appointment with her hairdresser was mandatory. He'd convinced her to put varying blonde highlights in her light brown hair. Definitely needed to refresh the blonde before the big night. She could get tinted contacts, maybe transform her hazel eyes to green or blue. On second thought, she didn't want to have to worry about contacts. So she'd go with her natural eye color. Pam smiled, glad now that she'd gone for the teeth whitening. Maybe she'd get an update on her makeup palette for the spring. As a thirty-eight-year-old CEO, she sincerely hoped she could keep blushes from mottling her fair skin. But, considering that she blushed at just the thought of being with Jake or Dean, she expected she'd spend much of the big night with naturally bright red cheeks.

The big night finally arrived. Pam was determined not to arrive at the reunion earlier than Jake, so she forced herself to work late before going home to get ready. She took her time. After a relaxing bath, Pam began to dress. The talented manager of the local Rubenesque Woman shop had put together the perfect outfit for her-a two-piece, floor-length ensemble in periwinkle blue silk. Her hair newly highlighted, her brows and other strategic areas waxed, the latest makeup colors expertly, but subtly, applied, she felt ready to conquer the world. Thanks to her new Jimmy Choo spiked heels, Pam stood a full five foot six, three inches taller than her normal height. She felt good, hot, and drop-dead gorgeous. When she couldn't wait another moment, she called for a cab to take her to the reunion site-the Sainte Françoise, an A-list downtown hotel. Along the way, last-minute doubts corroded her stomach lining. What if it was all a setup? What if Jake stood her up and everyone at the reunion was in on the joke? At least her best bud Sue, who'd opted for the full package and was staying at the hotel, would be there. Sue wouldn't let people humiliate Pam. Right. Sue would hold off several hundred hostile Yuppie types. Unfortunately, Pam hadn't told Sue about the dream date. She figured some explanation for the secrecy would come to her at the reunion. A horrible thought grabbed hold of Pam. Maybe Sue knew of some joke at Pam's expense… Pam's belly clenched, and she started to tell the driver to turn around. But dammit, she wouldn't psych herself out of what could be a very special night. And if she fell flat on her face in her Jimmy Choos-well, just for tonight, she was prepared to risk it. But from what she remembered of Jake, she really couldn't bring herself to believe that he'd hurt her. Let alone that Sue would do anything cruel, ever. Pam and Jake had agreed to meet at eight. She stole a glance at her Rolex. Eight-oh-three. The cab pulled up to the Sainte Françoise. Tonight the street blazed with enough light to illuminate the whole Pacific coast, but Pam glowed even brighter. She took a deep breath, got out of the cab, paid the driver and prepared to meet her fate. ***** Sporting his new Armani tux, Jake had arrived at the hotel a few minutes before eight. Now that the big night was finally here, questions assailed his mind. After all this time, what would his reunion with Pam be like? Were his impressions of her just the meanderings of an unhappy adolescent, or was there real substance in her remembered appeal? Would she be the one who could
join with him and Dean? Once inside, Jake began to relax. According to the information packet for the event, the planners had reserved a block of rooms for the partygoers. Jake, going by the old Boy Scout motto, had booked one. He picked up his key from the front desk before going to the ballroom. The person in charge of decorating had transformed the huge space into a fairyland, complete with fountains, twinkling lights, and fanciful arrangements of flowers. From the number of tables and chairs filling the expanse, Jake could see that a huge percentage of the class was expected. After Jake identified himself to a greeter who expressed approval with her eyes, he looked around at the early arrivals, hoping to spot Pam among them. A quick perusal of the crowd revealed familiar faces transformed by twenty years, but, alas, no Pam. Yet. Dean had come on his own earlier. Jake couldn't spot him either. ***** From the moment she stepped into the lobby of the posh hotel, Pam felt like she'd entered some enchanted realm. The greeters smiled at her as if she'd been Miss Congeniality. Pam looked around and saw some familiar-looking faces, some total strangers. Maybe the spouses of her classmates. No Jake yet. Or Sue. Then, miracle of miracles, Jake stood, waiting for her just beyond the greeters' table. In an elegant tux, he nearly took her breath away. Pam quickly realized that her memories had provided an amazingly accurate image of the real man, who looked like he'd scarcely aged since high school. She felt her face grow scarlet with excitement and anticipation. Jake's eyes locked with Pam's for one moment, and she shivered, feeling like he'd just read all the secrets of her soul. Then he rushed over to take her in his arms for a warm hug. He felt solid to her, strong and steady. He smelled clean and masculine, of musk and pine and spice. "Thank you so much for talking me into coming to this, Jake," Pam said. "Your pleasure is mine." His eyes glowed. "May I get you something to drink?" "Champagne." Perfect for the night. Jake settled Pam at a small round table, then made his way to the bar. Looking around the room while she waited for Jake to return, Pam spotted Sue, who looked gorgeous and happy. And was it possible-the man Sue was animatedly talking to was Mr. Donovan? Still handsome and almost youthful-looking, he had aged well. At this point, Sue must be calling the teacher by his first name, which Pam couldn't remember at the moment. She'd have to tease her friend about that later. Right now, the two looked too engrossed in one another to interrupt. Then Jake returned with two champagne flutes, and Pam focused on him. He raised his glass. "To reconnecting with the best, most fascinating person who ever came out of White-Ayre." Pam bit her lip, wondering when the fantasy would come crashing down around her. They clinked glasses and sipped. The reunion committee evidently hadn't skimped on the quality of the champagne. "I still can't believe I've come voluntarily to this reunion," Pam said. She took another sip. Jake looked at her quizzically. "You never told me why you were so dead set against attending." "I hated every minute I spent in our school." He raised an eyebrow. "You too? My existence those four years went from misery to torture to anguish and back." "No kidding?" Pam asked. "No kidding."
She just couldn't get her mind around their having been fellow sufferers. "But why were you so miserable, Jake? I thought as the editor of the literary magazine, and such a great writer yourself, you were on top of the world. Me, I had to struggle to write the few poems I gave you." "You noticed my writing?" Jake sounded amazed. "Of course. I was so jealous of you. I especially remember the poem you wrote in Spanish. Te quiero, mi querida." "'I love you, my beloved.' It was easier for me to say in Spanish than in English back then." Now Jake gazed at her, and she once again had that feeling of him knowing all her most secret thoughts. "But you wrote such amazing poetry." "You think?" Her voice cracked, and she took a deep breath in an attempt to remain cool. "I sweated bullets over each and every word. That's why I gave it up after high school." He shook his head. "None of the hard work showed. The poetry seemed to flow, like it was effortless for you. You were so beautiful and confident, so strong. Why were you miserable?" Pam stared at him. "Trust me on this. Beautiful and confident were two words I never imagined anyone using to describe me back then." Jake opened his mouth to respond when a server brought over a tray of hors d'oeuvres. "Want something to eat?" For once in her life, she was amazingly not hungry-for food. ***** Eventually Jake convinced Pam to eat. Feeding her felt good, as if he were satisfying some basic hunter's instinct he didn't know he had. Less surprisingly, his cock had sprung to full erection the moment he laid eyes on Pam. Now, watching as her tongue darted between her teeth, he imagined that tongue on him. Tasting him. Licking him. He shivered. He wanted to touch her lips, touch her in many other places, to know her in the many possible kinds of intimacy. "This is delicious." Pam licked her lips. What with the sweet blush lighting her face and a slight slur to her words, Pam appeared especially charming. And enticing. Jake groaned. He pictured those lips on his hard cock and shifted in his seat. She took the last bit of bread from his fingers, heat radiating from their touch. And then she offered it to him. "I want you to taste how good it is," Pam crooned. Jake opened his lips for a morsel, though what he really wanted was to be buried between her legs with his tongue deep in her. And later to share the ecstasy with her as he fed, initiated her into his world. She took a sip of her champagne and held the flute out to him. He took the expected sip. Jake couldn't wait another moment. He rose and went to her. He willed her to rise up to meet him. Eyes locked with his, she did so. He captured her beautiful mouth with his and, after licking a stray drop of champagne from her lips, thrust his tongue deep into her mouth. His last rational thought was to wonder why he'd ever waited so long to be with her. ***** Far from being shocked, Pam had known from the moment she saw him that Jake would kiss her. Excitement and desire sparked through her. Overwhelmed didn't begin to describe how Pam felt as she fell deeper into Jake's kiss and the spell he was spinning. The kiss was an initial step to their completing a loop opened so long before. And it was all happening at the Nightmare Academy reunion in the ballroom of the Sainte Françoise. When he broke the kiss, she nearly whimpered. He gazed at her, his eyes tracing a fiery path to her soul. "I want you." He outlined the contours of her face with his long, artistic fingers. "Yes," she moaned. "I want you too." She was trembling so hard, she didn't know if she could move. But as she looked into his eyes, she knew she wouldn't have to. He took her arm and raised her up. The room's many candles flickered and glowed,
illuminating them, then casting them into shadow. "Come with me," Jake growled, devouring her with his eyes. Her knees went weak. She didn't want any delay to their being together. "Let's find a place close by," she managed to say. He held up a key. "Your wish is my command." "You have a room here?" She knew he was living in the city at the moment. His renting a room meant he'd expected to end up… What kind of slut did he think she was anyway? Pam grinned to herself, suddenly glad that Jake knew exactly what kind of slut she was-the kind that would want to go with him tonight. The word slut took on a whole new, positive meaning, if that was how she'd describe her behavior tonight. After all, she'd been wanting him since high school. He took her hand and, walking so fast she practically had to jog to keep up, led her out of the ballroom to the elevators. She looked around. It seemed that she and Jake weren't the only ones among their classmates who chose to duck out of the main party in search of more private quarters. In fact, she thought she spotted Sue and Mr. Donovan running hand in hand through the hall. The elevators had slowed down to a crawl, and the crowd in the lobby buzzed with impatience. Jake put his arm around her and looked her deep in the eye. "My room's on the fourteenth floor. Do you want me to carry you up?" No one had ever made that offer to Pam before. For a moment, she wondered if he was making fun of her, though she didn't sense he was. Before she could reply, he scooped her up in his arms like she was a cloth doll and held her to him. Pam snuggled into his warmth, marveling at his strength. He didn't even seem to be exerting himself. In fact, he began to run up the stairs. Before she knew it, they were at his room. He gently put her down and unlocked the door. "Alone at last." "Uh, Jake, how'd you manage to do that?" "I rented the room earlier." She shook her head. "I mean, how'd you race up the stairs like that, carrying me? You don't look like you're even sweating, let alone breathing hard." He grinned, took her hand in his, and put it over his heart-which was pumping along at a slow, even pace. "Trust me, I'm breathing hard for you." "But," she sputtered, "you must be really strong. Almost superhuman…" He looked nonchalant. "I try to stay in shape." Before she could ask another question, he distracted her with a kiss. By the time he released her, she'd forgotten what she was asking about. Pam's eyes fastened on the two queen-sized beds and, swallowing hard, she realized they'd soon be in one, entangled together. Jake moved aside the blankets and pillows, sat down beside Pam on one of the beds, and, in Continental style, kissed her hand. Could he possibly know how romantic she found that gesture? Pam, so used to being strong and in charge, let go of the iron control she usually kept over her feelings, kissed his hand and then placed it over her heart. With a groan, Jake molded his hand to her breast. At his touch, Pam's nipple beaded, and she wriggled forward to deepen the contact.
"Too many clothes," Jake whispered. Within moments, she'd thrown off the carefully chosen outfit and stood before him in all her naked glory. He looked her up and down, drinking in every bit of her flesh with gleaming eyes. "You too," she ordered. He undressed in what seemed like the blink of an eye. He took her breath away. If possible, he looked more magnificent naked than fully clothed. So well-muscled, more like an outdoorsman than an editor and writer. Much as she wanted to feast her gaze on the whole man, Pam couldn't move her eyes from his large, full cock, jutting forth invitingly from the thatch of dark hair curling between his strong thighs. "All for you," he whispered hoarsely, and she blushed. She had to touch him, or she'd die. She reached out to where he stood before her, and he gasped.

Pam, the woman of Jake's dreams since his adolescence, stood before him. His balls contracted and his fangs began to throb. Much as he never wanted this to end, he felt nearly ready to come just at the sight of her. He sat her down on the bed and knelt between her open legs. Pam's heat seared him, and he sensed her life force pumping through her, pulling him in. He kissed her beautiful mouth again and then lowered his lips to take in her breast. At the touch of his tongue on her hard nipple, Pam stiffened and moaned. She tasted so amazing, her skin redolent of flowers and herbs, of the forest breeze on a warm night. The rush of her pumping blood went immediately to his head. He could scarcely hold back from the first amazing taste of her, but he forced himself to exercise some discipline. With his tongue, he laved her nipple, playing with its texture, giving in at last and sucking. She held his head to her, letting him know that she wanted him just where he was. He grazed her tender breast with his teeth. She trembled in his arms. Did she pull him onto her, or did he push her back on the bed so that he lay on top of her? He couldn't have answered if his life depended on it. He wanted to touch her everywhere, but, despite his vampiric powers, he had only two hands. And he had to touch her pussy, or he'd die. He rolled them both on their sides. Pam opened her legs and put them around him. The moment he laid his hand on her pussy, he felt her wetness, her readiness for him to come into her. Her warmth enveloped him everywhereespecially his heart. He ran his finger down her slit, and she pushed against him. The sweet nub of her clitoris hardened to his touch, and her ready moistness covered his finger. He needed to be in her. But he wanted to have the taste of her pussy on his tongue and in him before he entered her. He quickly nibbled his way down to her waiting pussy and tongued her plump pink folds. Pam swung her hips slowly to maximize their contact. She tasted of exotic spices, setting his blood on fire with his desire to claim her. Now she pressed his head to her, her fingers entwined with his hair. She opened to him, wanting more. Jake's cock felt like it would explode, and his fangs were practically humming, but he needed to pleasure her before he lost himself in her. His fingers joined his lips, tongue, and teeth to bring satisfaction to his lady. Pam thrashed from side to side, close to the edge. He increased the pressure on her slit, on her clit, and she clutched him tighter. "Jake," she whimpered, stretching his name out. "What is it, Querida?" He called her the love name from his poem, the one he'd never told her he'd written for her. Now she appeared to understand.
In response, her pussy clenched around him, and he could feel her let go into her release. When she stopped shaking, she burst into tears. He petted her, kissing away the tears. "What is it, Querida?" he repeated. She sniffled and shook her head. "That was amazing, Jake. Thank you." He kissed her gently, though now he ached to ram his cock into her as he plunged his fangs deep into her delicious neck. ***** She'd never before wept from coming. Since she'd graduated from Nightmare, tears for any reason came rarely. But Jake brought out so many long-suppressed feelings. Not to mention that was the most amazing orgasm she'd had in years. Maybe ever. Now she felt like the most selfish beast on earth. Poor guy was probably on the verge of blue balls or something. She tentatively touched his cock and felt a surge of energy that nearly jolted her off the bed. How could anyone be that hard and that hot? He lay down on top of her and nuzzled her, nibbling on the tender skin under her chin. She wanted to suck the entirety of him into her body, absorb him into her so that they were one. His teeth tickled her, but there was also some other sensation, one not nearly as tame as the gentle grazing. The closer she got to Jake, the more convinced she was that there was deep mystery about this man that still eluded her. Whatever it was, she wanted more of him. Now. Just one more breath and he'd be inside her. Pam thrust her hips up to meet Jake's cock and pull him into her. She felt the head of his cock enter her slick, hot sheath, and her muscles clenched in celebration. Closing her legs a bit, she drew him in. At the same moment, she felt a sharp, pleasurable ping as his lips and teeth explored her neck. She began to descend somewhere deep inside herself and then to rise in an upward arch into ecstasy. ***** A loud crash jarred Jake's nerves as he united with Pam. Bloody hell. He froze, then withdrew. She whimpered, and he put his hand on her cheek in what he hoped was a calming touch. He covered Pam with his body. His hard cock now wedged in the softness of her mound, his fangs vibrating in frustration, he surveyed the darkness around them. "Just the two people I most wanted to see." Dean had arrived at last. Shit. Timing was everything, and, much as Jake wanted him there, Dean had just thrown Jake's off. "Great timing," Jake hissed. "Have you told her yet?" "Not yet." Jake knew Dean was right. With more than a pang of guilt, Jake admitted to himself, he should have told Pam exactly who he was before he first drank from her. Hell, when he first called her. But years of having to be careful had made him overcautious. And then, once he was with her, he never found the right moment. Now Dean was forcing the issue. Jake could only hope she'd be able to forgive him, accept him. Pam tried to push Jake off, but he kept her pinned down. She thrashed back and forth, and a look of fear came into her eyes. Then she stopped struggling and lay tensely beneath him. Acting cool, though Jake knew his friend was probably seething below the surface, Dean stood over Pam and him. "You want to tell her, or should I?" "My responsibility," Jake said. Always the literary man, he wanted the story to capture her. But words failed him now, when he most needed them. "Pam, you might find what I have to say difficult to, uh, accept. Believe." Dean rolled his eyes. "Cut to the chase, man."
Pam echoed this sentiment. "What haven't you told me?" she asked, her voice hollow with suspicion. He felt her withdraw from him, her hot, welcoming wetness hidden. "Who we are. What we are," Dean said, his voice clear and commanding in the hush of the room. Pam tried again to push Jake off her. Of course, she couldn't begin to fathom his strength. Jake could have kept her exactly where she was with no effort. But feeling her begin to grow frantic, he slid off. She sat up and reached out, grabbed her dress, and clumsily covered her torso as she curled into a small, tight ball. "What is going on?" Jake took a deep breath. "Okay. Dean and I are vampires." His words seemed to float in the air, as if waiting to be taken in. Pam reacted in slow motion. She shook her head and laughed-or more likely hiccupped. "You're joking, right? This is a setup?" She looked around. "Is somebody going to jump out of the shadows with a camera to record me making a fool of myself?" Angry tears formed in her beautiful eyes, and Jake longed to kiss them away. He tried to remember a time when he'd have found an announcement such as the one he'd just made unbelievable. Dean rose, came over and put his hand on Jake's shoulder. "No joke. Pam, we both became vampires in college. Pledged the wrong fraternity. Or the right one, depending on your point of view. If you'll watch closely, I'll show you." Without waiting for a response, Dean opened his lips, revealing white even teeth. Within moments, his fangs fully descended. He grinned in a way that only partially hid the fangs. Pam gasped. Jake realized there was no way she could doubt the truth of what he'd said. Not with the clear visual in front of her. She shook her head as if to try to clear it, then looked from one to the other of them. "You're both serious, aren't you?" For once, Jake's mind-reading powers failed him. "Not what I expected at my reunion or from either of you." Her smile looked wobbly. "You're both vampires. The real deal." She gazed at Jake. "And that strange sensation I felt when you touched my neck…" "I hope pleasurable." "Yes. Definitely that." She dreamily fingered her puncture wounds, which Jake hadn't had the chance to heal. "But Dean's right. Why didn't you tell me first?" Tears glittered in her eyes again. Jake reached out to touch her, but Dean pushed in between them. "Pam, when I make love to you, you'll know exactly what I'm going to do," Dean said. "When you make love to me?" she asked incredulously. "Yes. But before that… Tell her the rest, Jake," Dean demanded. Jake figured he had nothing more to lose. "Dean and I have been lovers for many years." "You and Dean?" she echoed. "Since high school?" "No. We didn't get together until after." "I see." She shook her head again and swiped at her tears. "Curiouser and curiouser. Do I have any chance of you two just letting me leave?" Fear dominated the confusion that animated her face. This was exactly what Jake had wanted to avoid-scaring her. "You may leave whenever you want. But please hear us out." His gaze locked with Dean's. "You promise I can leave?"
"Whenever you want. Neither of us will do anything to prevent you," Jake said. Dean nodded his assent. Neither of them touched her now, though Jake ached for the contact, and he could sense Dean did too. Pam appeared to relax. "Okay. I can leave any time." She thought for a moment. "I must be nuts for not taking off, but no more nuts than I had to be when I agreed to attend a Nightmare reunion. But I have to find out before I leave forever." Pam held her hand to her head as if to ward off a migraine. "Shit, my head is spinning. You're vampires. You're lovers. And you're telling me all this at our high school reunion. Uh, could one of you tell me exactly why I'm here, why we're all here together?" "Don't doubt your senses," Jake said. "As to why we're here. I thought you were special in high school, and I've never forgotten you. I wanted to know if I'd just been fooling myself about you all these years. The reality of you is better than my memories." Pam wiped away a tear and sniffled. "That sounds very pretty, but as to whether I can believe any of it… Jake, I've thought about you over the years. Wondered… But hell, I didn't expect the truth of who you are now. I need to get my mind around that. And Dean, why are you here?" "You know how everyone thought I was the happiest, luckiest guy at Nightmare?" Dean asked. Pam nodded. "You sure seemed to be having a great time." "Well, I was miserable. You see, I was in love with two people." "You mean two at a time." He shook his head. "No. Only two. Neither of whom I dated." She frowned. "But all those girls-" "A cover for where my heart really was. I loved you, Pam. And Jake." He laughed dryly. "Can you imagine-the soccer star having a crush on a guy. I'd have been toast if anyone suspected. And Pam, you weren't exactly the cheerleader type I was supposed to be hot for." "Thanks for pointing that out, Dean." "Trust me. The stereotype is overrated." "I'll agree with you on that." Pam thought for a moment. "But how, when, and why did you guys become vampires?" Jake needed to take control of the conversation here. "That's a story for another time. If there'll be another time, and I hope there will be. But right now, Pam, I want more than anything to show you my love. If you'll let me." If he didn't complete his feeding soon, he'd curl up and expire. And he was determined he'd feed from her only while they were making love. He took her hand. To his relief, she didn't push him away. ***** Pam's head felt like it should be whirling physically to match the confusion rampant within. A little voice inside reminded her of her fantasy-to have Jake Ardlow want to be with her at the reunion. Having Dean Morley here too pushed the fantasy over the top. But in her wildest dreams, she'd never imagined being with either of them would put her in a room with two vampires. "I want to make love with both of you," Jake murmured. Though the small voice of reason screeched for attention and demanded she pick up her marbles and leave if she could, Pam felt her pussy grow moist again at the thought of Jake loving her. He hadn't hurt her yet, though he'd had many chances to. "You'll stop any time I want?" she asked. No sense saying "Yes" too easily here.
He agreed. "I'll drink only a little. I'll make sure it feels great to you. You'll feed me and it will not hurt you." "But didn't you already feed from me?" She touched the wounds again. Jake nodded to the other man. "Dean's arrival stopped me." Despite all the craziness, one thought rang loud and clear. Pam wanted him. Hell, lost in a fantasy she hadn't indulged in since high school, she wanted both of them. Feeling a confidence she'd never experienced back then, she dropped the dress away from herself and stood up. "What happens next?" By way of response, Jake took her in his arms and kissed her lips, starting softly. Now aware of what he was, she thrust her tongue into his mouth, tentatively searching for his fangs. Her tongue recoiled when she hit one. Very sharp. How would the fangs feel when he brought them down on her neck? She winced in advance. Damn, her curiosity was leading her into trouble again. "Let's make this a true reunion," Dean said softly. Now naked, he stood near the bed. Dean didn't disappoint her eyes. So beautiful, he could have modeled for statues. Hell, both Jake and Dean made the stripper she'd been drooling over the night she first heard about the reunion look like a scrawny teenager. Jake rose and put his arm around Dean's waist. The two men stood before her, proud erections jutting forth. A girl could get used to that. Then Dean growled, a low sound that resonated deep within Pam, all the way to her core. Next thing she knew, both men had turned to each other and were kissing. Jake entwined a leg around Dean's thigh, and Pam knew their erect cocks had to be touching. A sharp stab of need and lust spiraled through her hot, moist pussy. Fascinated as she was to watch the two gorgeous men, more than anything she desired to be part of their circle of warmth. She took a deep breath, moved over to get between them, then lost her nerve and settled for putting a hand on each man's back. Though Jake and Dean instantly separated, the passion smoldering between them remained like an almost tangible presence. More than she'd ever wanted anything, Pam longed to experience that passion, to join in it with them-even if only once in her life. "Feeling neglected?" Dean asked, his eyes gleaming. Keep it light, Pam's little inner voice reminded her. She did not want either of these men to realize how deeply affected she felt in their presence. Instead of answering, she pouted provocatively and gave both men her best "come-hither" look. They both laughed. Then Dean said, "My turn." Jake started to say something, but Dean sprang into action first, drawing Pam to him and taking possession of her lips. From the first, Dean's kiss was hard, demanding-just like his body. He was all coiled energy and supple muscles-the welldeveloped athlete grown up. Pam began to compare the two men's kisses and bodies, and then her mind quit work for the duration. "Uh, buddy, you forgetting something?" Jake asked. Dean pulled away from Pam for a moment, way too long. Fortunately, she didn't lack for attention for long. She moaned when Jake drew her to his mouth, and Dean put his arms around her from behind. He began to nuzzle the back of her neck while Jake nibbled on her lips, and their tongues grappled. Pam tried to follow all that was happening with both men, but she quickly abandoned her attempt at clear focus and gave herself up to the pleasure they were providing. In her wildest fantasies, Pam had never imagined being with two men at once-let alone these two very special ones. Now it seemed like the most natural and desirable situation. How could she ever again settle for less? Next thing Pam knew, the three of them were stretched out on the bed, with her the filling of an amazing sandwich. One man's huge erection pressed against her belly and another poked at her left cheek. Pam wound her legs around Jake's and gave up all notions of being in any kind of control. She shivered with delight.

As satisfying as Jake had found being exclusively with Dean, he now felt their relationship had moved to a whole new dimension with infinite possibilities. Amazing that they'd never tried bringing a woman into their loving before. Dean was his soul mate, no question there. What did Pam represent? Could he have two soul mates? Could three people be soul mates? Now that they'd reconnected, he realized how much Pam added to his existence. He cherished her beauty and her warmth, her earthy generosity. Heck, he even cherished her sarcasm and smart mouth. But right now he needed to bury himself deep in her and learn to know her at every level. Glad to lose himself in sensation, Jake touched Pam's beautiful pussy with a finger and felt her throbbing warmth, her welcoming wetness. He stroked her folds and wedged his thumb against her clit. She wiggled against his finger and purred. Yes. The sound and feel of her pleasure got his cock even harder and ratcheted up his desire. He couldn't wait another moment to slake his thirst. Fully aware of Dean behind her, Jake put his hands on Pam's hips and tilted her pussy up to the perfect angle. His engorged cock lingered just a moment at the opening between her folds. With a cry, he plunged himself deep into her, and she, panting, raised her legs higher on his, closing any tiny distance between them. Pam rolled her head revealing her neck to him, and he homed in on the spot. Licking her tender neck with his tongue to ensure both her pleasure from the feed and her healing after, Jake sank his fangs into her and began to drink. Beautiful. She tasted like the heaven he knew she'd be as she surrounded his cock. After the first delicious swallow, Jake forced himself to slow down his drinking and his thrusting. Moving carefully, he reached new highs of pleasure. Pam contracted her pussy muscles, massaging his cock, urging him to move faster and deeper. He resisted while he could. ***** Dean nibbled the nape of Pam's neck and continued down her back, licking, kissing, stroking, lightly massaging her. Then Dean began to caress the crack between her cheeks with a moist fingertip. He gently eased his finger inside, and Pam responded with a mewl of gratitude. Pam's head buzzed with pleasure while Dean nibbled at her neck, running his tongue over the delicate skin. Dean nibbled and kissed his way down her spine before he licked the crack between her cheeks, then settled down for some serious tonguing of Pam's hole. Pam moaned her response to the way he made her feel as she rode his tongue and mouth, wiggling against him, urging him to go deeper into her. He then lifted his cock and nudged in slowly. And then Dean seemed to let go. With a growl, he entered her completely. The fullness of his huge cock in her intensified the sensations of Jake's dance in her pussy. Hardly passive, Pam started a rhythm that the two men soon picked up and joined. There she was, with these two amazing men filling her, the three of them responding to each other's essential throbbing. Pam had never before been so conscious of her body, especially down there. But her most intimate places now hosted two large, erect cocks, thrusting into her so closely at times she thought they almost touched. In a way, it felt as if they were reaching out to each other in her. She'd never before been this turned on. Pam ached to hold on to these moments, to the sensations of Jake and Dean loving her and each other through her. If it had been just Jake alone, she'd have felt overwhelmed. Now she felt so far beyond overwhelmed, it was as if she'd had to tap into a whole new concept of who she was-or could be. She'd moved into another dimension of time and space, a place she feared she'd never again be able to return to.
Which meant she should seize the moment. Remember it for the scrapbook of her memories. She'd been an emotional Sleeping Beauty up 'til the moment Jake and Dean entered her. As the center of both men's attentions, Pam found herself uniquely aroused and yet relaxed. For once, she didn't worry about pleasing her partner. The men let her know, by their sounds and the way they moved, how she satisfied them and so much more. This heady knowledge multiplied her ecstasy to a point beyond any experience she'd ever known before. With the two men in her, Pam felt like she was floating somewhere in the most remote corner of the universe, a place unknown to mere mortals. With a sigh of almost regret, she knew she was coming. She didn't want this to end, but her climax shot upward like a rocket determined to reach the stars. Never quiet in her orgasms, Pam moaned and whispered, then hissed and finally screamed. She reached the top and rode the crest of a tidal wave of sensation and emotion. Clutching both men inside her, Pam, shaking with pleasure, came. Did Jake or Dean come first? To Pam, it felt like both men followed her within seconds. Jake was a shouter, Dean a whisperer. Both calling out words she couldn't decipher, the two men, in the last throes of their release, dove even deeper into her. Panting, shuddering, all gave testimony to the storm they'd just created and survived. And then it was over. The three of them lay entwined in the warm, loving silence of completion. Pam burrowed her head into the spot under Jake's chin and listened to his heartbeat. Dean spooned her from behind. Pam felt secure and warm in her vampire cocoon on the bed where they'd shared their unique loving. ***** Jake was the first to stir. Dawn would soon arrive. Jake couldn't remember any previous time when he and Dean had so lost track of time that they'd been away from home or a safe haven this close to sunrise. He had to get his friend up quickly so they could return home. Jake hated to have to wake Pam, so warm and lovely in her rumpled sleep state. But he wasn't about to abandon her without a word. And they couldn't take her with them, not yet. He imagined the sight of the men taking to their coffins for the day would freak her out until she'd had more time to get used to who they were. "Pam," he whispered. She snored lightly. Dean awoke and ran a hand through his hair. "Man, I didn't realize we'd be here so late." Jake kissed Pam again, light butterfly touches on her eyelids, then her lips, and this time she woke with a smile on her face. Then she opened her eyes, saw him, and startled. She rubbed the side of her neck. "It wasn't a dream then, was it?" "Do you mean our lovemaking?" She nodded. "Me and you and Dean." "No, it wasn't." Pam appeared to become more awake each moment. She looked around frantically. "What do you want?" he asked. "Something to cover up with." He handed her her pile of clothing from where it lay on the floor. "Turn around," she demanded. Stifling grins, both men complied.
"The rest of it…" she said as she quickly threw on her clothes. "It wasn't true, was it?" "What do you mean?" He ached to touch her, but he was determined to keep his distance until she invited him to make contact. All the time, the clock was ticking. He didn't want to upset her, but he really needed to leave… "The part about your being vampires…" Perfect opening. "True. And all the stuff you've heard about vampires needing to tuck themselves away at dawn. Also true." Jake shook his head. "Which means I have to leave you quickly, and I hate like hell to do that. Before I say good-bye, I want to tell you how much last night meant to me. And, we want to see you again." Dean nodded in agreement. "No." She held up her hand. "But last night…" She shook her head. "Look, it was beautiful. But now it's nearly dawn. And, Jake, you and Dean scare me in more ways than I can count." The rationality of a dawning day. He couldn't deal with it now. "We have to go. Please, I'll call you tonight." She crossed her hands in front of her. "Don't. All I ever want to do is forget this reunion and everything having to do with Nightmare Academy. Permanently." She turned away again. He and Dean had no choice. They had to leave now or get caught and fried by the rising sun. ***** Pam staggered home soon after Jake and Dean left. Exhausted, she fell into her bed and prayed for a return of sanity. Before long, she'd convinced herself that none of what she thought had happened could be real. She'd get a few hours of sleep. Then she'd phone Sue and tell her about her weird hallucination. That Jake Ardlow must have drugged her champagne with some real heavyduty shit. When Pam woke up it was already early afternoon. She felt completely sober and, for some reason, bereft. Sue didn't answer her home phone, her cell, or her work extension. Feeling at loose ends, Pam tried to get some work done. She'd always loved losing herself in her managers' reports and sales figures. Today, she kept feeling distracted. Got nothing done. Evening finally came. She'd just nuked some leftover pizza and was going to settle down to watch her video of The Princess Bride for the four hundredth or so time when there was a knock at her door. For a moment, she suspected it was Jake. Well, even if she ached to see him again, she wouldn't let him in. "Who is it?" "Let me in. It's Sue." Pam's disappointment that it wasn't Jake melded with relief to be able to talk to her friend. Sue had always helped ground her in reality before. Pam opened the door. "Can I come in?" Sue asked. "Of course. I just nuked a slice of pizza for myself. Want me to nuke one for you?" Pam walked through her living room back to
her kitchen. Sue followed her. "No thanks. Don't want any. Can't stay long." Pam decided to leave the pizza in the microwave. She didn't want to eat in front of Sue. "About last night," Sue said. "The reunion. I lost track of you. But I've got some great news…" Pam held up her hand. "I want to hear everything. But first I have something amazing to tell you." "I bet I have you beat," Sue said smugly. "Okay, you look like you're going to explode. Tell me." "Jake Ardlow contacted me…" Sue's eyes opened wide in surprise. "Jake Ardlow? So he was your secret motivation for changing your mind about the reunion." Pam nodded vigorously. "I actually had a date with him. You won't believe it, but I think he slipped something into my drink." "And you kept all that a secret. From me." Sue shook her head. "Believe me, I was not thinking clearly. And then at the reunion… Well, the only way I can explain it is that I had the craziest hallucination. The whole night is like a big black hole in my mind." Sue looked at her. "Really? That sure doesn't sound like you-or the Jake Ardlow I remember." Pam's hands began to tremble. "He's changed." She laughed at the irony of her understatement. Sue shrugged. "We've all changed, girlfriend." Pam snorted. "Not like this." "Okay. I'm intrigued. You've got to tell me exactly what's going on. But first, I changed my mind. I'll take some pizza." Pam served them each a slice, poured on extra garlic, and began to tell her friend about her amazing adventure at the reunion.

Jake awoke the next night feeling shitty-not his usual style. After a quick drink of the bottled blood he and Dean always had on hand, he figured he'd try to get some work done. Maybe later, he'd talk Dean into going out to a club… Jake turned on his computer, perused a few new messages, and lost the thread. If only he and Dean had played it slower. But Pam had seemed as taken with him-with both of them-as they were with her. "Why the long face?" Dean asked. He pulled a chair next to Jake's spot in front of his computer. Jake could smell that Dean had gone out for a live feed and envied his energy. "It's Pam. I'm more sure than ever that she's the right one. From the vibes I got last night, I figure you feel the same."

Dean put his hand on Jake's shoulder. "She's special," Dean said. "If we're going in that direction, yeah, I can see having her in our lives." "So it wasn't just my imagination that last night was amazing?" Dean shook his head. "The earth moved for me too. And her." Jake contemplated that for a moment. "We never tried anything like that before." "Speak for yourself, buddy." Jake narrowed his eyes. "You've been holding out on me." "Moi?" Dean raised an eyebrow. "Let's just say, I'm a man of many depths." He stroked the side of Jake's face. "Want to come explore some of them?" "Jeez, Dean," Jake said, excited by Dean's scent and heat, "I'm trying to think here." Dean grinned down at the bulge tenting out Jake's jeans. "You know what they say," he whispered. "Two heads are better than one." He stroked Jake's cock through the denim, then slowly unzipped his fly. Jake groaned. "Or in this case, four," Dean said. "Let's go play. I find I think best after I come." ***** "I've heard they're the most amazing lovers," Sue sighed. Pam put down her pizza. "You don't sound at all weirded out," she said. Sue scowled. "Weirded out? Why should I be?" Pam rolled her eyes. "Our two high school heroes claim to be vampires who've been sharing a bed for years. That doesn't seem strange to you?" Sue appeared to consider this. "Uh Pam, what century are you in?" "Are you even implying that you're cooler than I am?" Sue's upper lip twitched, and Pam could have sworn her friend was on the verge of laughing at her. "If the Manolo fits…" She gave in and laughed. Pam had to fight back an impulse to punch her. "Come on. You said it was amazing being with both of them. They treated you better than well. And they want a repeat performance. Sounds better than most of the dates I've ever had. Or you, for that matter." "Jeez, Sue. That doesn't sound like you." "Maybe it's the new me. You see, I've got reunion news too. Maybe not as earthshaking as yours, but pretty damn mindblowing." Sue grinned like the proverbial Cheshire cat. Pam rolled her eyes. "I can't believe I'm being so self-centered here, I didn't even ask." A memory cell kicked in. "Didn't I see you with-" Sue nodded energetically. "Don't mess up my scoop. You did." She fluttered her eyelashes. "Ned and I connected."
"Ned?" "Now that we're going to see each other, I'm not going to call him Mr. Donovan anymore." "Really?" Pam whooped. "How did it happen?" Sue looked at her watch. "I have to meet him in half an hour, so I can't go into all the details. Suffice it to say, he never forgot me either. Came to the reunion in hopes that we'd connect. And-we did. More than he expected, for sure." Sue blushed. "I'm really happy for you, Sue." "Me too. Talk about closure. But Pam, we conveniently skipped over the most important part. How do you feel about Dean and Jake?" Sue always could zero in on the target. "Confused," Pam answered. "So tell me more about Ned." "No changing the subject. What are you confused about?" Pam squirmed. "What is this, an interrogation?" "Just one friend looking out for another. I've never heard you say you're confused before. Why now?" "Because I think I'm in love with them both," Pam said so softly Sue had to ask her to repeat. "Doesn't sound like you're at all confused," Sue said gently. "But how can I-?" "How can you what?" "How can I love two men at the same time? Two vampires?" Sue smiled and shrugged. "I have to go, girlfriend." Pam walked her friend to the door and hugged her. "I wish you everything you wish for yourself. Keep me posted." "You too, kid," Sue whispered. "You know, I wish the same for you. Best advice-follow your heart and don't be afraid." Pam watched her friend leave and wished, more than anything, that she could follow Sue's advice. ***** Jake and Dean lay nestled together in their bed. "Hey, I thought you said you think better after you come." Jake elbowed Dean, who was half asleep, in the ribs. "Thinkin' with my eyes closed," Dean muttered. "Fuck that," Jake said, then rolled over and covered Dean's body with his. Dean opened his eyes wide. "Again?" Jake licked Dean's lips, and Dean pulled him closer. Jake, tempted but determined, rolled back to his side. "After we think-and
talk." "Cock-tease," Dean growled. He turned toward Jake and ran a hand down from the man's chest to the base of his cock. "Two can play at that." Jake wriggled away. "You do want Pam to be with us the way I do, don't you? Or am I wrong here?" "Come back here," Dean said. "We can talk and touch at the same time." Jake acquiesced. The two men lay facing each other, each with a hand on the other's hip. "Yeah, it was good," Dean said. "Even great. Connecting with Pam helped me realize the high school kid I was is still part of me, and that's good. Gratifying to know that I had good taste back then." "Okay, sounds good. But why am I still waiting for the other shoe to drop?" Dean almost distractedly stroked Jake's side. "I'm still not altogether sure, though, why we have to change what's been great between us. You know? There's stuff to think about. Like should Pam really become one of us? As she is now, mortal, we'd have to get used to seeing her get sick, old, eventually die." Jake looked at Dean with surprise. Usually Jake was the deeper thinker of the two of them. He hadn't given a thought to Pam's mortality. "Good point. Buddy, I owe you an apology. Sometimes I still think of you as the brainless high school athlete…" Dean grinned. "Don't think I don't appreciate that. After all, eternal youth plus superhuman powers was what got me hooked." "So shallow after all these years. That's one of the things I like about you," Jake murmured. "Want me to show you what I like about you?" "Yeah," Jake said, excitement rising. "Just as soon as we decide what to do about Pam." He tweaked Dean's nipple, taking pleasure in Dean's obvious arousal. Dean reached around to cup Jake's balls and squeeze them. "So what'd you come up with-besides this?" He stroked Jake into a full erection. Jake groaned. "I want her with us. But it's not going to work unless she's ready to embrace us fully-and become one of us." "Agreed, buddy. So who's going to tell her?" "Both of us," Jake whispered before lowering his lips to Dean's throbbing cock. ***** Pam couldn't focus her mind anywhere that night. Loneliness was not a word that usually carried much weight in her personal vocabulary, but tonight that particular "l" word hued everything she touched and thought about in shades of gray. No videos, TV shows, business paperwork, fashion magazines or good books distracted her. She helped herself to a huge bowl of Rocky Road ice cream, which she found she had no appetite for. Though she'd always prided herself on being in control of her mind and body, now she couldn't constrain her thoughts to keep from wandering to where she didn't want them to. She couldn't stop thinking about the night before, her reunion at Nightmare. Damn everything to hell, why hadn't she stuck to her original intentions and skipped it. She crossed to the sink and dumped the ice cream, ran water and watched the brown chunky stuff go down the disposal. Just like her life was doing right now. Feeling chilled despite the warmth of the day and her house, Pam curled up under a cozy afghan on her living room couch. If only she could remember the night before as a negative experience, she'd be okay. But all she could
remember was how fabulous she had felt, how much more complete and satisfied than in her entire life. And then the way Jake and Dean had invited her to share their lives… Talk about being ridiculous. It was beyond impossible for her to imagine even seeing them both ever again. After all, she wasn't the type to get all fuzzy-brained just because of a fantastic lay. Not even an out-of-the-world, beyond imagining lay. Too bad Pam had never developed the art of lying to herself. Now she realized it wasn't just their bodies that she ached for right now-and that scared her. The connection between her and Jake in high school had felt deep, as if they communicated on a whole unique level. And Dean had secretly been in tune with them, the shadowy presence completing their triangle. Of course she'd later dismissed all that as typical adolescent fantasy. Then they'd come together at the reunion, and she reconnected to her past like the intervening years had never happened. Twenty years of regrets, wrong paths taken, triumphs and trials… They all evaporated like a dream as she discovered the fundamental truth of how right the three of them were together. What the fuck was she going to do now?

Several nights went by with no movement on either side. Jake couldn't stand the inaction and had told Dean he'd call Pam that night, get things out in the open. He'd been about to dial when he sensed the call coming and picked up before the first ring. Despite the ensuing silence, Jake knew Pam was on the other end. Excited as he was to realize she was calling, he figured his smartest move would be to wait her out. After a few moments' silence, he heard the phone click. Damn. He started to dial her number, then stopped himself. Give her some room, he thought. She's made the first move. Jake wasn't a patient man. About a second before he was ready to give in and dial, the phone rang again. "Ardlow here." He heard her breathing. "Jake, it's Pam." Cool, collected. On the other hand, subtlety was definitely overrated. "What can I do for you, Pam?" "I want to see you. You and Dean, both," she said, her voice heavy with need. Jake let out a breath. "That can be arranged. Where and when?" "Now," she said. "Now. My place." She gave him the address. "We'll be there in an hour," Jake said. She wanted to see them again. All to the good, right? Where the fuck was Dean? He'd said something about going to a night game… Jake, hoping Dean had actually taken the damn cell with him, dialed his number. To Jake's relief, Dean picked up. "Meet me at Pam's in an hour," Jake barked. Dean whistled. "This it, buddy?" "Could be." After he'd given Pam's address to Dean, Jake got ready.
***** Pam had an hour to prepare herself, and she'd need all that time. Remembering how carefully she'd dressed for the reunion, Pam tried to focus on all the steps she needed to take to look totally gorgeous tonight. Gathering clothes and makeup would keep her from wondering if she'd lost her mind. After all, aside from continuously agonizing over the way they'd parted, she'd made a clean break from Jake and Dean the other night. Right on time, the doorbell rang. She had a moment's hesitation before forcing herself to answer. After all, she reminded herself, she wanted to walk away with no regrets. She knew that if she left things hanging the way they were, all she'd ever have would be regrets. Both men stood at her door, a personification of her high school fantasy-especially because both were grinning at her. In contrast to the elegant tuxes of the other night, both men now wore jeans and cotton sweaters and still looked amazing. "Come in," Pam said, fully aware of the implications of inviting a vampire into one's home. They both followed her in and sat down in the chairs she indicated. She sat on the couch, across the room from both. Though she longed to touch them, she forced herself to maintain her distance. "Can I offer you something? A drink?" Realizing the futility of offering them anything but herself, Pam blushed fiercely. "We're really glad you called," Jake said. Dean nodded. Both men looked at her expectantly. Pam realized they weren't going to carry the conversational ball, so it was up to her to get started. "I'm sorry that we parted so abruptly," she said. They nodded, as if asking her to go on. Pam put a hand to her throat, then felt self-conscious, as if she was accusing them of being set to attack her, and lowered her hand. "It's just, everything I found out…was a lot to take in." "We can dig it," Dean said. "Maybe it would help if you tell me how this all got started…" "Long story." Jake began. "I want to hear," Pam murmured. "Okay. But just because we're not drinking doesn't mean you can't," Jake said. A drink sounded just like what she needed. Pam poured herself a few fingers of orange-flavored brandy and took a healthy swallow. "You see, Jake and I pledged a particular fraternity in college." "I was attracted there because of their reputation for delving into the mystical," Jake added. "The initiation rite included having to go through a maze that had grown quite legendary at our school. I wanted to find out if the truth lived up to the legend. It did." "And I was attracted to anywhere Jake went. In those days," Dean looked at the other man, "and still." "So you've been vampires since college?" "Sophomore year," Jake said. "You see, most of the seniors in the fraternity were vampires. And once they initiated us… Well, all the mystery, the romance opened up a whole new world for us."
"Not to mention superhuman powers, eternal life and youth, and great sex." Dean winked at her. Pam swallowed hard. "Do you ever have any regrets?" Both men looked at each other. "None," Jake said. "An occasional nostalgia for sunlight," Dean offered. "But I look at a picture or a movie, and that takes care of that." Pam drained her drink. "I've thought about you, about what you both said when we were…when we made love. A lot." Both men watched her closely, waiting for her next word. "I want to join you," she said hoarsely. "In every way." "You're sure?" Jake asked. Pam nodded. Jake and Dean looked at each other. Though this was what they'd wanted, Jake knew he felt unprepared-and expected Dean did too. "Huh," Dean said. "This is a new one on me." "Me too. Which one of us should transform her?" "Well, it was your idea first." Dean eyed him with longing. Suddenly Jake knew. "Both of us. We'll both do it." Dean hugged him. Both men motioned to Pam and, when she came over to them, enveloped her in their embrace. Then, while Jake pleasured Pam with his hands and his lips, deep languorous kisses that seared a path between her breasts to her pussy, Dean opened her up to her transformation with his fangs buried deep at her throat. He drank of her and, more mindful than usual, switched places with Jake in time for Jake to drink from Pam. When Pam arrived at the last moments of her mortal life, Dean bit into Jake's wrist and Jake did the same for Dean. Both men held their wrists to Pam's lips, encouraging her to drink of them. She drank her fill then, with a sigh, fell asleep. "Let's wake her," Dean said. Jake stopped him. "I think newly made vamps can sleep half their first night away. It's normal." "Well, I'm not going to waste tonight. Turning her turned me on. How about you, bud?" Jake grinned. "Was kind of sexy, the way she sucked from both of us at the same time." "I'm up for some sucking," Dean whispered. He drew Jake close to him. Pam stirred just then and grinned, her new fangs shiny. "Let's make that a party for three." They opened their arms and pulled her into their embrace.
