La Romance is a question and answer book designed for you to fill out together. It will reveal everything about yourselves, your story, your life together—yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Together we’re going to talk about how the two of you met, your first kiss, your quirks, your fights.We’re going to explore your lives, your tastes, your desires.We’ll find out who you are and why you love each other. You will be able to tell each other everything, remember everything, discover things you never knew about each other,and discuss subjects you would normally never dare broach.Together we’re going to write everything about your whole story. In the following pages you will find very personal questions to answer together. In a moment, each of you is going to go get a pen (you might choose different colors for clarity, but you don’t have to) to tell your story by writing your answers in the boxes and lines provided. Yes, you’re allowed to write in the book! In fact it’s essential.When you’re done,this book will be yours alone, and unlike any other copy of La Romance. (For that matter, you can start by pasting your pictures on the cover to show that this is your story.) We will tackle a variety of topics together, and the questions I ask will often be uncomfortable, and even embarrassing. Simply write “Mystery” instead of the answer called for or skip that question.This is your book, after all. As you’ll see, it would be very hard to fill out this book in a single session. Feel free to take breaks, fill out a chapter from time to time, come back to it later, or fill out some chapters before others.
