How to Use this Travel Guide This Travel Guide is the e-version of the same full-sized 18”x 26 1/2” (folds down to a 4” x 9” pocket-size, map-guide format) printed version of this travel guide. You may order the printed version from www.michaelbrein.com (see below). Overview of this Guide To get an overview of the front page of the full-sized printed version, select Overview of Chicago Transit System Map from the Table of Contents. This map of Chicago by the ‘ L’ shows the locations of Chicago’s top 55 visitor attractions in close proximity to major transit stops. You get off at stops in these areas and walk to visitor attractions. Similarly, for an overview of the back page of the printed version, select Overview of Mini Area Maps from the Table of Contents. These Mini Area Maps give you transit instructions and show exactly how to walk to visitor attractions from major transit stops. Read Introduction to Chicago by the ‘ L’. Choose visitor attractions from the Index of Points of Interest. Click on an item in the Index and you will navigate to its location on the Chicago by the ‘ L’ Map. Now, click on this attraction on this map and you will navigate to the appropriate Mini Area Map, where you will find transit instructions and exact directions how to walk from transit stops to visitor attractions. Go to the Index once again to choose a new visitor attraction. Click on TOC or INDEX to return to the Table of Contents or the Index of Points of Interest, respectively. This travel guide is best viewed in Adobe Reader (Click Here to download a free copy.) View all pages at once by clicking on the Adobe Reader Pages tab on the left of your screen. Print Out mini area maps as needed. To print out 8 1/2”x 11” sections of the Chicago by the ‘ L’ Map follow these instructions: 1. Select [Print] 2. Go to [Page Scaling] 3. Select [Tile Large Pages] 4. Select [Print] Order the full-sized 4” x 9” pocket-sized, printed version of this travel guide from www.michaelbrein.com.
