Dr. Jean Feldman
Dr. Jean Feldman has been actively involved in education for over 40 years as a classroom teacher, instructor of adults, author, and consultant. Dr. Feldman has a B.A. from the University of Georgia, a D.A.S.T. from Emory University, and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Georgia State University. She is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the National Kindergarten Alliance, and the International Reading Association.
Dr. Holly Karapetkova has over ten years of teaching experience at Georgia State University, University of Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina University, and Marymount University. Currently she is an Assistant Professor of Language and Literature at Marymount. Holly received her B.A. from Rice University, her M.F.A. from Georgia State University, and her Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati.

Well over 100,000 CDs of songs written by Dr. Jean and Dr. Holly have been sold to date. In the last three years, over 2,000 teachers have given up summer vacation time to attend Dr. Jean’s Camp Kindergarten trainings. Together, Dr. Jean and Dr. Holly have presented at national conferences, such as NAEYC and IRA. Dr. Holly has written over 20 books for children. Dr. Jean has been the keynote speaker at the National Kindergarten Conference and over 20 state early childhood conferences. Dr. Jean is currently a popular presenter with Staff Development Resources, presenting 20 trainings each year.

Adding actions to songs helps gets the wiggles out AND helps children remember the lyrics. It doesn’t matter whether you have your class create a set of actions or use the actions provided, the important thing is to get your class moving to the music!
