Pronunciacidn Para conseguir una aproximaci<5n a la pronunciaci6n de algunas palabras en ing!6s es necesario recurrir a sfmbolos fone'ticos complicados; con ello, el uso de un librito de bolsillo, como nuestra GUfA DEL VIAJERO, se veria muy restringido. El usuario tendria primero que memorizar todos los simbolos fone'ticos antes de poder usar el libro. Nuestro objetivo no es, por lo tanto, ensenar al viajero una correcta pronunciacion, sino, conseguir que, usando las vocales normales espanolas, pueda hacerse entender en cualquier pais de habla inglesa. En algunos casos, hemos preferido sacrificar la posibilidad de una elegante pronunciaci6n inglesa por otra menos elegante quiz£, pero mucho ma's asequible para una persona de habla espanola. Creemos haber logrado nuestro objetivo ampliamente.
